Deschamps disappointed with France’s sluggish attack

France coach Didier Deschamps has expressed his disappointment with his team’s lack of attacking power after they were held to a goalless draw by Israel.

France, who did not call up Real Madrid forward Kylian Mbappe, played at home against Israel in the UEFA Nations League, ทางเข้า ufabet which ended in a goalless draw on Thursday. 

The latest draw means the ‘Les Bleus’ are through to the quarter-finals with 10 points from five matches, but Deschamps is unhappy with his team’s attacking form, which has failed to find the net.

“It’s really disappointing that we ended the game in a draw without scoring. We should have scored a goal after creating so many chances.”

“We almost scored on a few occasions. It’s about efficiency. We were totally inefficient today.”

“We should be happy because we’re in the next round. I’m disappointed with the result but I’m happy to be in the quarter-finals,” Deschamps said. 

France will play their final match of the UEFA Nations League against already qualified Italy on Sunday, November 17.
